Seymour couple accused of molesting, battering child

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – A husband and wife are accused of molesting and battering a child in Jackson County.

The Indiana State Police arrested 30-year-old Farron Dyer and his wife, 29-year-old Raven Dyer, after a two week investigation. 

Detectives say they were contacted by the Department of Child Services after they received allegations of abuse against a minor. 

Both Farron Dyer and Raven Dyer were arrested Wednesday on initial charges of Child Molesting, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Neglect of a Dependent, and Battery.

They are being held at the Jackson County Jail pending formal charges being filed.
