(CINCINNATI) – Two local sisters were at a popular Cincinnati Bengals tailgate for a good cause on Sunday morning.
Over the past few years, 13-year-old Tessa Ziegler and 9-year-old Raya Ziegler have raised more than $30,000 for Tri-State Honor Flight.
They were invited to be part of Bengal Jim's "Before the Roar" Tailgate Experience for the Patriots game that is taking place today.
“We got picked before the season and this has just been an incredible experience today,” said their mother, Rachel.
The two girls raised approximately $7,000 during the tailgate session!
All of the money will be donated to Tri-State Honor Flight which is a program that offers veterans who are 65-years-or-older a trip to visit the memorials in Washington D.C.
