Six EC senior get scholarships to pursue vocational careers

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – The Sunman-Dearborn School Endowment Corporation has awarded six $5,000 scholarships to East Central High School seniors.
The students plan to pursue vocational and technical education at trade schools.
The six students are Gabriel Campbell, Brayden Davis, Delanie Origer, Wyatt Smith, Addison Reynolds, and Alayna Workman.
Each of the six scholarship recipients will be eligible to renew their scholarship for a second year, for a total award of $10,000.
This program is part of the Endowment's strategic efforts to invest in the future workforce and elevate the value of skilled trades in today's economy.
Since 2003, the Endowment Corporation has granted more than $4M in funding to enhance educational opportunities for students, staff, and families throughout the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools.
