(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – More snow and extreme cold will soon make its way into Southeast Indiana.
Wednesday’s rain showers could transition to some light snow showers this afternoon.
Slick road conditions will be possible with falling temperatures especially this evening into tonight.
A winter system will bring accumulating snow to the region Thursday night and into Friday. It will likely impact road conditions for the morning commute.
“Another system will bring additional accumulating snow Saturday into Saturday night with the greatest potential for accumulating snow late in the day Saturday and into Saturday night,” National Weather Service meteorologists said.
Temperatures will take a dive this weekend as lows will be in the single digits overnight Saturday with the high temp on Sunday of just 13 degrees.
