(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Two fierce rivals will use their upcoming basketball game for a good cause.
South Dearborn will be at Lawrenceburg on February 20 and it is a Cincy Shoots for a Cure game.
The new Tri-State initiative utilizes basketball games to raise money for the fight against cancer.
“I ask for your help in making the LHS-SD game the best game of the Cincy Shoots for a Cure season, and the biggest way you can help is to buy a t-shirt and spread the word,” said South Dearborn Athletic Director Ryan Walston.
You can now purchase a shirt for the game and the deadline to buy one is this Sunday.
Click this link to access the website for the shirts. The shirt will be available 48 hours before the game.
“We want all the Lawrenceburg fans in the orange shirt, with South Dearborn fans in the same shirt in navy showing unification in the fight against cancer, creating a unique game night environment,” Walston said.
The money raised by Cincy Shoots for a Cure, including proceeds from this game, will go to the American Cancer Society.
