South Dearborn's Rand Ballart now holds program winning record

(AURORA, Ind.) – South Dearborn’s Rand Ballart has become the winningest football coach in program history. 

Ballart led the Knights to 27-6 win over Jennings County on Friday to mark his 47th career victory. 

It was a dominant performance for the Knights as they held Jennings County to just 63 total yards. 

Rand’s son, Brady Ballart, led the team in tackles as other top defensive performers included Mason Lane, Sam Gates, Elliott Meek and Colton McClure. 

Offensive contributions came from freshman quarterback Griffin Sturgeon, Tyeler Gulden and Braston Gross. 

South Dearborn will have their home opener against Madison this Friday.
