(AURORA, Ind.) – A childhood dream has become reality for South Dearborn senior Brady Ballart.
Ballart has played football since he was a young child and has always dreamt of playing in college.
The high school gym lobby was packed with family, friends and teammates as that dream came true on Thursday night.
Ballart signed his National Letter of Intent to play college football at the University of Louisville.
The star linebacker described it as an honor to have so many loved ones and friends by his side this evening.
“It’s tremendous to have this community support and I wouldn’t be here without them,” Ballart told The 812.
He added, “It’s not limited to who is in this room as there are people who couldn’t make it tonight, whether because of wrestling practice or the swim meet, who have also been very influential on me as well.”
Brady has received a full-ride scholarship to Louisville and plans to major in Finance.
