South Decatur sending 3 runners to state meet

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Three South Decatur runners will participate in the Indiana Middle School Cross Country Championship meet on Saturday. 

Sixth grader Emma Leising, seventh grader Elijah Allen and eighth grader Norah Fromer have each qualified. 

South Decatur will compete in the small school division during the state competition. 

The team is coached by Donovan Hale and Bethany Fromer. 

Middle school girls need to run a 3K in 14 minutes or under and boys need to run the same distance in 12:45 to qualify.
