(ST. PAUL, Ind.) – The St. Paul Police Department is raising awareness of breast cancer during the month of October.
They have temporarily wrapped one of their vehicles with a pink hood with a white ribbon displayed on it.
This isn’t the first time Police Chief Josh Kuntz has taken on this initiative, as he also led this awareness campaign six years ago.
Breast cancer remains the most frequently diagnosed cancer among Indiana women. The survival rate has improved over the years due to earlier detection and earlier treatments.
Chief Kuntz added that the goal of the department is to show their support for those who are fighting or have fought breast cancer.
