State Road 1 in Guilford to close for 2 months

(GUILFORD, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 1 between Dover and Guilford is expected to be closed for two months beginning on October 13.

An INDOT contractor will conduct a slide correction project on S.R. 1 just south of Cook Road.

Drivers coming or going from Lawrenceburg are asked to take the official detour of I-275 and I-74.

State Road 1 will open in mid-December if the weather cooperates, INDOT said.
