Stop signs installed, reduced speed limit in New Point

Stop signs were installed today

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – Some changes were made to State Road 46 in New Point on Wednesday.
The Indiana Department of Transportation installed new stop signs, making it a 4-way stop at State Road 46 and South County Road 850 East.
There are also red flashing signs to alert drivers to the new signage.
Drivers should also be aware of speed limit change as State Road 46 has been reduced from 55 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour between County Road 700 East and County Road 200 South.
