Storms and heavy rain lead to Flash Flood Warning

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – The heavy rains and storms have created the possibility for flooding in Southeast Indiana. 

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for portions of Franklin, Fayette, Union and Wayne counties until 10 p.m. Saturday. 

The storms have dropped 2-3 inches of rain in certain areas which have prompted the flood warning.

Drivers should be aware of water-covered roadways, underpasses and low-lying areas. You are urged to avoid driving through flooded roadways.

More rain is possible throughout the evening and on Sunday.
