(OSGOOD, Ind.) – Several students had the opportunity to learn about woodworking through a Genesis: Pathways to Success camp.
In partnership with Iron Timbers, 20 students from across Southeast Indiana learned the ABC’s of the woodworking profession.
Some students made a charcuterie board and others made a cutting board.
Campers were also tasked with cutting, sanding and measuring wood while also learning how to safely operate machinery. Students also got to make their own personalized signs.
“My favorite part of camp was seeing the laser engraving because it was cool to see the fine details it can get,” said Batesville seventh grader Levi Trenkamp.
