Sunman family in need of help during medical situation

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A Sunman family is in need of some extra community support during a difficult time. 

Martha Rodriguez is battling kidney failure and is currently hospitalized and receiving dialysis. 

Her husband, Guillermo, is forced to miss work due to spending as much time as possible with her at the hospital. 

“This has put a lot of stress on our family, both emotionally and financially,” said their daughter, Samantha.

The situation has led Samantha to launch a Go Fund Me for her parents. She is hoping to raise $3,500 which will all toward the mounting medical bills.

“With my dad by my mom’s side, it’s been hard for him to keep up with work, and the costs of her care are more than we can manage alone,” she said.
