Hoping to buy or lease new location

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A Sunman pizzeria has announced it will close its Sunman location.
The family-owned Chubby’s Pizzeria opened in 2024 and offers both dine-in and delivery options.
The last day of operation for the Sunman location will be Sunday, June 29.
“Unfortunately, we are unable to work with the current owner of the building we are leasing and have decided it is best that we part ways,” the owner said.
Ownership is currently looking to buy or lease another building and also considering a food truck.
“If anyone knows of a location that is available or coming available please let us know. Dearborn and Ripley Counties in Indiana as well as Harrison, Ohio, would be our preferred areas,” they said.
The owners added, “It has honestly been a true pleasure to serve the people of Sunman and it’s been great to see some of my childhood friends. I always loved this little town and I’m sad to say goodbye.”
Chubby’s Pizzeria is one of two Sunman restaurants that are closing this month. Here’s when the Railyard Bar & Grille will close.
