Switz Co. families invited to Living In Literacy Day on Saturday

Takes place at Switzerland County Elementary

(EAST ENTERPRISE, Ind.) – Parents of young children are invited to a resource fair at Switzerland County Elementary this weekend. 

Living In Literacy Day provides information and programs for families who have children under the age of 5. 

It takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 5. 

There will be opportunities to find out how to access child care and apply for financial assistance, a free monthly book delivered to children, how to navigate health insurance, preschool options and signups for the library’s Summer Reading program and much more. 

Some organizations involved include CFSCI, Building Blocks, Switzerland County Health Department, Purdue Extension, SIEOC, Head Start, Girl Scouts, School Smiles, and New Hope Center. 

Switzerland County Elementary is located at 12862 State Road 250 in Rising Sun.
