Switzerland County runners hold annual 9/11 memorial run

(VEVAY, Ind.) – The Switzerland County cross country team is honoring those who were killed 24 years ago today.

The runners carried an American flag through Vevay to honor those who were impacted by the events on September 11, 2001. 

This is the second year the team has held this unique memorial run. 

“These kids were not alive during that time and I hope they never experience an act of terrorism as devastating as 9-11,” said coach Tye Sullivan.
