Tastes of Summer at Lawrenceburg Civic Park on Saturday

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – There will be plenty of good food and music during the Tastes of Summer in Lawrenceburg on Saturday. 

It takes place at Civic Park with the music kicking off at noon and going well into the evening.

Performers will include Marisa Fullenkamp, Dermody Lane, Rosewood Revival, Snidely Whiplash, Stoned Blue, The Renegades and Small Town (a John Mellencamp tribute band). 

There will be close to 20 different food trucks set up throughout the entire day as well. 

Free carnival rides and kids activities are also part of the event. 

Prior to the event, the 12th annual Lauren’s Burg Hill 5K will take place. This event is in honor of Lauren Hill and all funds raised benefit Lauren’s Fight for Cure. 

“This event will allow Lauren’s wishes to continue by assisting families/young adult patients facing terminal brain cancer as well as fund cutting edge research to find a cure for pediatric brain cancer,” organizers said.
