The Girls of Fall: OA ranked in top 10 in two sports

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – The small school of Oldenburg Academy is having big results when it comes to female athletics this year. 

The girl’s soccer team is currently ranked #1 in Indiana Class 1A and #11 overall in the state. 

They have outscored their opponents by approximately 105-5 so far this season.

On Tuesday night, they beat Milan 9-0 and will play 4th-ranked Switzerland County in the Sectional Semi-Final on Thursday in Milan.

The volleyball team is also having a great year where they are ranked #7 in Class 1A. 

The Twisters are 20-5 with just a few more games remaining this season. 

One of the key players on the team is Northern Illinois commit Ali Nobbe who is currently in the running for Indy Star Volleyball Player of the Week
