(ERIE, PA.) – A Tennessee man hasn’t let the winter storm derail his cross-country trek.
Noah Coughlan is on a journey he calls “Run for America: A Tribute to the American People” and it coincides with the country’s 250th anniversary.
His goal is to connect with veterans, families facing rare diseases, everyday Americans and to promote a sense of unity.
Coughlan began in Maine in October and will travel 5,500 through 20 states.
Coughlan has ran through some difficult conditions over the past few days in Upstate New York as well as Pennsylvania.
He will eventually run through Indiana and plans to reach the Pacific Ocean in Oregon in May.
From there, he will run through Alaska and then conclude in Hawaii on July 4 to celebrate the U.S. Semiquincentennial.
