Top Reds prospect to make MLB debut tonight

(CINCINNATI) – The Reds top prospect is slated to make his Major League Baseball debut tonight. 

22-year-old Chase Burns was selected in the first round of the 2024 draft by the Reds.

The Tennessee native has started 13 games in the minor leagues and has pitched to a 1.77 ERA.

Burns will make his MLB debut against the New York Yankees at Great American Ball Park at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.
