(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Nobody was seriously hurt after a train collided with a car in downtown Lawrenceburg on Wednesday.
The incident happened on Mary Street around 2:15 p.m., according to the Dearborn County Register.
The newspaper said the train pushed the car for approximately a city block before coming to a stop.
The female driver of the car was not seriously injured and did not need medical treatment at the scene.
The City of Lawrenceburg has a speed limit for trains going through town which likely contributed to the slow speed that the train was traveling.
