Two girls finish in top 10 at IHSAA Track & Field State Finals

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Two local female student-athletes were among best at the HSAA Track & Field State Finals on Friday. 

Batesville junior Ella King finished fourth overall in the shot put competition. 

East Central sophomore Heather Albrinck competed in the pole vault an finished sixth in the entire state. Her teammate Addelyn Bittner finished 23rd in the same competition. 

Fellow Trojan athlete Callie Bentley wrapped up her illustrious track career by finishing 18th overall in the 800 Meter Dash.

East Centrals’s 4x800 team is comprised of Bentley, Natalie Stenger, Leah Toney, Gabrielle Karle and they finished 10th overall. 

Oldenburg Academy senior Rachel Suttman was in the discus competition and finished 19th overall. 

North Decatur’s Miley Scudder also had a good performance as she was 30th overall in the 100 Meter Dash.
