(LIBERTY, Ind.) – Union County authorities are warning the public about a crime that may be targeting Good Samaritans.
Investigators say a victim saw a white truck parked on East Contreras Pike and stopped to check on the occupants on Tuesday.
The victim was then robbed at gunpoint, according to police.
“If you observe a white single cab Ford F150, occupied by 2 white males with long hair, sitting alongside the roadway with it's flashers on, DO NOT STOP,” the Union County Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspect vehicle was last seen westbound on Contreras west of Stone Road.
