Versailles Gold Star donates $9,200 to Walters Family Benefit

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Gold Star Chili in Versailles supported a local family in a big way last week. 

The restaurant donated all of their proceeds from 3-, 4, and 5,-ways directly to the family of Jordan and Sierra Walters. 

Jordan and Sierra, of Milan, were both killed when their vehicle was struck by a pickup that crossed the centerline on State Road 350 in Moores Hill on Friday, June 12. 

Their two young sons, who were inside the vehicle, were briefly hospitalized but survived.

The local Gold Star initiative has resulted in $9,200 being donated to the family. Customers also rounded up their bills to support the benefit.
