(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Students and community members gathered for a prayer vigil in Lawrenceburg on Friday night.
It was held for freshman Kate Buescher who was involved in a golf cart accident in Hidden Valley on March 9. She remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Buescher is a Lawrenceburg soccer player and avid skier. Her friends say her best qualities is her humor and big heart.
"She's always lifting people up, if they're sad, she is always the first one there to lift them up and make them happy," said freshman Aubree White.
A Go Fund Me fundraiser has been established for the family and you can access that here.
