(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Several volunteers showed up to help at the Decatur County Community Garden on Tuesday.
The volunteers filled the raised garden beds and put up trellises for cucumbers. They also planted tomatoes, zucchini, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower.
“We still have a bit to finish and we plan to work on the rest of it throughout the week. If you feel like helping during the week, just stop in at the Decatur County Department of Health and Alicia can set you up with what to do,” organizers said.
There will be several other items planted and the garden provides free, fresh produce to anyone in need.
