UPDATE:
The Kiwanis Club of Westport has rescheduled their first-ever golf scramble which was originally scheduled for this Saturday at Wyaloosing Creek Golf Course.
It was postponed due to rain and will now be held on October 11.
"This exciting new event is being hosted to support community service projects and bring golfers together for a fun and meaningful day. While we’re disappointed by the weather delay, we’re looking forward to a great turnout this fall," organizers said.
All team entry fees are being refunded, and everyone is invited to re-register for the October date once the new registration period opens.

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Kiwanis Club of Westport will host their first-ever Fundraiser Golf Scramble this weekend.
It will be held at Wyaloosing Creek Golf Course at 8 a.m. Saturday and golfers of all skill levels are invited to form four-person teams for the 18-hole tournament.
The event will include raffles, prizes, and lunch provided by JT’s Barbecue.
Proceeds will support the Kiwanis community initiatives which includes scholarships, youth baseball, the annual senior citizen dinner, Westport Park improvements, and more.
“We’re proud to bring our community together to support the next generation,” said Kiwanis Club member Courtland Robertson. “This golf scramble is more than just a tournament—it’s a chance to make a real difference in the lives of local kids.”
Team entry is $300, which includes golf, a cart, lunch, and chances to win great prizes.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses looking to show their support.
