Yard sale this weekend raises funds for Switzerland Co. needy families

Proceeds support 300 kids during Christmas

(Vevay, Ind.) – A yard sale in Vevay this weekend will support local families during the holidays. 

The Angel Tree Annual Yard Sale will be held at the Switzerland County Fairgrounds from 8-5 p.m. on Friday, June 6 and 8-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. 

It will feature clothing, purses, houseware items, luggage, furniture, baby items, jewelry, antique items, shoes and more. 

The proceeds go toward Christmas presents for Switzerland County families in need. 

"It’s a huge fundraiser we do in Switzerland County to raise funds to help 300 kids at Christmas time. We have 2 huge buildings full of stuff plus a ton of items outside," an organizer said.

It will be held rain or shine and the Switzerland County Fairgrounds is located at 507 Vineyard Street in Vevay.
