(MILAN, Ind.) – A large yard sale will take place for a very special cause on Friday and Saturday.
All proceeds will go toward hats and gloves for local elementary students this winter.
The yard sale has been created by Candice Feller following an initiative she took last year.
Feller collected more than 600 hats and 790 gloves for Milan students. Read that story by clicking here.
“This year I’m hoping to raise enough to cover more than just Milan Schools. So I have collected donations for a yard sale. All proceeds go toward hats and gloves,” Feller told The 812.
The Community Yard Sale will take place at the Milan American Legion from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
It will include women’s clothing, men’s clothing, home decor, furniture and more.
Donations will be accepted as well.
