Youth singers to perform shows in Decatur County this weekend

Takes place at Tree County Players

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A musical performance this weekend will showcase talented youth singers at the Tree County Players (TCP) in Greensburg. 

The 'Broadway Junior Revue Raise Your Voice!’ is a production that features 24 cast members who are from local elementary, junior high and high schools. 

Organizers say the performance will offer a unique experience for audience members as the students will perform a mix of Broadway hits and new music. 

“For our young singers, it also provides them a chance to sing songs and embody roles that they otherwise would not get the chance to until later in life,” said show organizers. 

It will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at TCP Playhouse, which is located at 634 West Main Street in Greensburg. 

The show is directed Amy Borns and Morgan Straber and they’re encouraging community members to attend.

Tickets are only $12 for nonmembers, $15 for members and $5 for children.
