(ST. LEON, Ind.) – The community celebrated a milestone birthday for a beloved local priest on Saturday.
Fr. Jonathan Meyer is the pastor of All Saints in Dearborn County and has just turned 50-years-old.
He is well-known in the area for his creative and innovative ministry, strong youth and adult programs, maintaining a presence online with homilies and other teachings, serving as an East Central track and cross-country coach, and recently becoming a published author.
Many also know him for dancing at weddings as one person who attended the celebration said,” It wouldn’t be a party if Father didn’t dance to Ice Ice Baby!”
On Saturday, the birthday celebration was held at the St. Joseph Campus and Fr. Meyer was joined by many community members, Fr. John Hollowell, priests from other communities and also his parents.
