All 4 Kids expands childcare services to families before CCDF funding approval

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – The local organization All 4 Kids is expanding access to affordable, high-quality childcare for those on the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) waitlist, and families who qualify for CCDF assistance. 

The organization says some families face wait times that can be more than a year.

Through this initiative, CCDF-eligible families—those meeting state income and work requirements—can now receive reduced-rate childcare while waiting for official CCDF funding approval. 

“All 4 Kids believes every child deserves a strong start in life, and every parent deserves the peace of mind that comes with safe, dependable care,” said Dr. Michelle Roberts-Schneider, Executive Director of All 4 Kids. “By supporting families during this waiting period, we’re helping them stay employed or pursue education, and we’re helping to give children the stability and positive start they need.” 

The CCDF program helps low-income families afford childcare while they work or attend school, but high demand often results in extended wait times. 

“All 4 Kids’ commitment ensures that families will receive the help they need and not fall through the cracks simply because funding hasn’t yet reached them,” the organization stated.
