American Idol finalist to perform free concert in Vevay on Friday

Part of Vevay's First Friday series

(VEVAY, Ind.) – A recent American Idol contestant will perform in Vevay on Friday night. 

New Albany native Kennedy Reid appeared on the show in 2024 and was a top 20 finalist. 

She had the opportunity to be mentored by Jelly Roll during her time on the show. 

Reid and her band will be playing a free concert from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Liberty Street between the courthouse and tourism office. 

It’s part of the monthly community celebration called Vevay First Friday which also features vendors, food truck and family fun.
