Aurora, Lawrenceburg to host tree lightings on November 30

(AURORA, Ind.) – Aurora and Lawrenceburg will kick off the holiday season by holding tree lightings on Sunday, November 30.
The City of Aurora’s tree lighting and Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Second and Main Streets in the city’s historic downtown.
The City of Lawrenceburg will start at 5:30 p.m. with reception the Lawrenceburg Event Center followed by the tree lighting at Civic Park.
Some other holiday attractions this season includes the Hillforest Victorian House Museum in Aurora and the “Northern Lights” exhibit at Perfect North Slopes.
“There will also be lots of great activities taking place throughout the day on Saturday, November 29, as both Aurora and Lawrenceburg celebrate “Small Business Saturday,” including merchant open houses, special offers, drawings and more,” said Dearborn County Tourism executive director Debbie Smith.
