Aurora woman finds missing cat after 2 weeks

(AURORA, Ind.) – The search for a missing cat in Aurora has come to a happy ending.

We shared a story this past week of 26-year-old Emma Mcginnis who was in a desperate search to locate her missing cat Tigger.

The cat had been missing for more than two weeks and Emma was even offering a $200 reward.

“We have been hanging flyers, and canvasing the area daily for him. Most nights we don’t go to sleep until 3 a.m.,” Emma told The 812 last week.

The family got a big surprise when Tigger showed back up at the house Friday!

“He came to the door yelling through the open screen! He made me chase him around for a minute but he finally gave up,” Emma laughed.

Emma says she and the entire family are relieved that Tigger is back home safe.
