Will take place on March 28 and 29

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Batesville Archery team will host a unique tournament where anyone is welcome to get involved.
A 24-hour archery tournament is called ‘Arrows for Hope’ and will raise funds for cancer research.
The tournament is not only for students as participants of all skill levels are welcome to be a part of it.
“Parents, teachers, local businesses, and schools are encouraged to participate in this friendly competition, which is limited to 48 teams due to the gym’s target capacity,” said BCSC Archery coach Michael Weiler.
The tournament will take place on March 28 and 29 in the Batesville High School Auxiliary Gym.
“This event is about more than just raising money for cancer research—it’s about bringing our community together and showcasing the skills and confidence our students gain through archery,” said Weiler. “We want everyone to see how archery builds focus, discipline, and teamwork, leading to academic and personal success.”
The "Arrows for Hope" tournament will feature 24 hours of continuous archery, friendly competition, and community challenges to encourage participation from schools, businesses, and families.
The cost to participate is $10 per person ($150 a team) and there can be up to 24 people per team, with one person competing per hour. Bows will also be provided to those who need them.
Want to get involved but don’t have a team? No problem, as organizers can help match you with a team.
