Batesville baseball coach announces resignation

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville head baseball coach Tyler Burcham has announced he is stepping down from the role. 

Burcham has led the program for the past four years and has coached with Batesville since 2018. 

“I’m thankful for all of the memories and relationships this program has given my family and me,” Burcham said. 

He called the resignation bittersweet but says he looks forward to getting more time back with his family.

The Bulldogs finished this past season with a 17-11 record and a Sectional championship. 

Burcham is a 2013 Greensburg graduate who played college baseball at Parkland College and Lee University.
