Batesville FFA hosting mum fundraiser Monday

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) — Batesville FFA is hoping to raise funds so they can compete in the national event. 

The chapter finished second overall in state in the FFA Quizbowl Contest and earned a spot in Denver. Two of their team members also earned top-five individual honors at state.

They will host a mum sale at Batesville High School from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, October 19. Enter Door IC8.

All proceeds will go toward funding their trip to Denver so they can compete at the national level.

“We have multiple colors and varieties available, and we’d really appreciate any help from the community,” said FFA team member Reagan Flashpohler. 

Flashpohler is one of four Quizbowl team members which also includes Lucas Ludwig, Lilian Eckstein, and Alexis Koch. The team is coached by FFA advisor Cassie Wallpe.
