(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Fire & Rescue is nearing their fundraising goal to purchase new equipment that can save lives.
The department has an Extrication Fundraiser so they can buy updated equipment that can be used during serious car crashes.
“Much of our current equipment is nearing the end of its lifespan and needs upgrading to incorporate the latest technology,” organizers said.
They have currently raised 80 percent of their $50,00 goal.
