Batesville grad named Ball State county ambassador

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville graduate has been selected to serve as a Ripley County Ambassador through Ball State University’s County Ambassador Program. 

Delyla Wonnell is a former intern for Ripley County Community Foundation and is also a senior at Ball State. 

Ball State University County Ambassadors serve as a student representative for their home community and they share information with their college peers as they consider where to live and work after graduation. 

Wonnell will work closely with local leaders and organizations to showcase Ripley County’s assets, including career opportunities, recreational amenities, cultural attractions, and quality of place initiatives. 

Delyla says she is thrilled to serve in the role and to represent the region at Ball State.

“Ripley County is full of rich history, unique characteristics, and exciting opportunities for the future. I look forward to sharing with others what makes our community such an exceptional place to build a life and a career,” Wonnell said.
