Batesville grad named to Anderson University Hall of Fame

(ANDERSON, Ind.) – A 2009 Batesville High School graduate has been inducted into the Anderson University Hall of Fame.
Amy (Wuestefeld) Meyers was a two-sport athlete at Anderson and excelled on the softball field and basketball court.
Meyers scored 941 points and had 481 rebounds during her basketball tenure.
On the softball diamond, Meyers helped lead the Anderson Ravens to the NCAA Division III World Series appearance.
She holds numerous top-ten records for the school including a .415 batting average which is ranked second in school history.
Meyers also is third in on base average, third in stolen bases, fourth in sacrifice hits, tied for sixth in triples, eighth in hits, and tenth in runs and stolen base percentage. She was named the conference MVP in softball for 2013.
Amy was named to the HCAC all-conference first teams in softball and basketball in 2013 leading her to be named the 2013 Outstanding Senior Female Athlete at Anderson University.
While at Batesville High School Meyers played basketball, softball and ran track. Her senior year the basketball and softball teams won sectional titles.
Meyers lives in Richmond with her husband Allen and three children Jack, Owen and Callie.
