Batesville senior nominated for Player of the Week after game-winning kick

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville kicker is among the top performers in local high school football this past week. 

Brady Wonnell has been nominated for Player of the Week through Tri-State Football. 

The Bulldogs were tied 14-14 against the South Dearborn Knights in the final moments of Friday’s game. 

The senior stepped up and hit a game-winning field goal to give Batesville a 17-14 win. 

Wonnell is the only Southeast Indiana player that is eligible for the award this week. You can vote for him by clicking here.
