(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A benefit ride will be held for a Decatur County teen battling a heart condition.
The ride for 14-year-old Braydon Young will be held in Greensburg on Saturday, August 23.
Young has lived with Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in 2021. It’s a condition that causes the heart muscles to become abnormally thick and stiff which reduces blood flow.
“He has been in and out of the hospital for heart failure and breathing issues this year.
Meanwhile, his family has been displaced from their home since last fall due to catastrophic water damage,” organizers said.
The ride welcomes both motorcycles and 4-wheel vehicles. It will begin at Wallpe’s Keg with registration starting at 9 a.m. and the ride leaving at 11 a.m.
It will end at The Beach restaurant. The ride is being organized by the nonprofit group Infamous Few of Decatur County
