(BRIGHT, Ind.) – Local veterans and Cub Scouts came together for a dinner and presentation in Bright on Monday night
The Cub Scout Pack 693 hosts a dinner on the Monday before Veterans Day every year.
The club had their biggest turnout ever tonight as more than 30 veterans attended the dinner.
“Veterans enjoyed a spread of Italian dishes prepared by Pack leaders and parents, and were honored by the Cub Scouts throughout their program,” said Eoghan Rhode.
There was also K-9 demonstration that was hosted by Army veteran Blake Wyatt.
“The Scouts from Troop 693 were on hand to act as color guard, and assist Den Leader Katie Vale-Freeburg with the program. Each Veteran was presented a gift bag filled with items that the Cub Scouts had crafted during their recent meetings,” Rhode added.
