Busy weekend ahead in Enochsburg

(ENOCHSBURG, Ind.) – It will be a busy weekend in Enochsburg beginning Friday. 

Bohman Christmas Tree Farm will open for the season as families from across the region will get their Christmas trees. 

You may want to act sooner than later, as the farm typically sells out in the first or second weekend of the season. 

The farm will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Meantime, a popular restaurant will reopen for the weekend. 

The Kinker family opened Fireside Inn in 1950 and the restaurant became a fried chicken destination for more than a half-century. 

They made the decision to close the restaurant last year in an effort to have more family time together. 

The Fireside Inn will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for carry-out only. There will be no dine-in option.
