(MINNEAPOLIS) – A Special Olympic athlete from Versailles just had a memorable performance at the USA Games!
Kendra Franklin is one of four Special Olympic Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn (ROD) athletes who has been competing at the national competition in Minnesota.
Franklin is a swimmer for Team Indiana and helped her squad earn two medals earlier this week.

On Friday, Kendra earned a Gold Medal and set a personal record in the 100-yard Individual Medley!
She isn’t the only local Special Olympian to earn Gold as Aurora resident Charlie Wilson helped Team Indiana Soccer defeat the District of Columbia in the championship game Thursday.
