Who bakes the best pie in Decatur County?

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Champions of Youth is hosting their annual Pie Palooza this year.
The nonprofit is dedicated to helping children through professional one-to-one mentoring with volunteers.
The Pie Palooza is a fundraiser where some Decatur County residents bake a pie, create a video why their pie is the best, and people can vote online for their favorite.
“Some of you may remember Mr. Pratt's famous Kermit the Frog song that kicked the friendly competition into high gear,” organizers said.
It costs one dollar per vote and the person who donates the most will win the pie.
Want to be involved in the pie baking? The deadline to register is January 31.
“We have had so many positive comments on our baker participants and how much effort they put into helping us make a positive difference with a simple PIE on Pi Day,” they added.
Rules for 2025:
Please make an intro video by February 28th, stating what kind of pie you are going to make, why everyone should support Champions of Youth, and why you should be the Pie Palooza Champion.! (You can look back at Pie Palooza 2024 to check out the competition and get ideas!!)
Be silly!
Be kind- but competitive. :) There is only one 2025 Pie Palooza Champion. To make it fair, we will not be allowing teams so there is no doubling up this year.
Please drop your pie off at our office by March 12th, by 4 PM.
You must be willing to share our social media posts on Facebook to help promote our Pie Palooza
