City of Greensburg offering grants for eligible homeowners to make much-needed repairs

Application process closes on April 30

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The City of Greensburg has funds for eligible homeowners who need to make much-needed repairs to their home. 


The Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Grant is a program designed to help low- to-moderate income homeowners make essential home repairs, improve safety, accessibility, and overall housing conditions.


Greensburg was awarded $350,000 from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs to implement the program. 


This opportunity is for low-to-moderate income homeowners that have a house within the city limits. It can address critical needs such as  roof repairs or replacements, HVAC replacements, water heater replacements, and accessibility modifications up to the threshold of the home.
