Co-ed softball tournament to raise fund for Walters family

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – An adult co-ed softball tournament will be held for a good cause in Rising Sun. 

The tournament will raise funds for the family of Jordan and Sierra Walters, of Milan. 

The couple was tragically killed when a pickup crossed the centerline and struck their vehicle on State Road 350 on June 12. 

Their two sons were in the vehicle as the family was driving to a Milan 8U baseball game. Both kids were briefly hospitalized. 

A co-ed tournament will raise funds for the Walters family on Saturday, July 18. 

It will take place at Rising Sun High School with the first pitch at 9 a.m. 

Teams must be 50/50 men and women and this is a no-alcohol tournament.
